A mighty big Thank You goes out to Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation, whose generous donation of warm winter coats for veterans afforded us the opportunity to get winter coats for our veterans for this coming year.

In 2022, the OSJL Charitable Foundation, through their annual Buy*Give*Get Program, were able to donate 50,000 coats for veterans. The coats were distributed to veterans’ organizations throughout the Northeast, in partnership with a multi-state network of veteran support agencies, organizations, assistance programs and action groups serving New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

A member of our Stand Down Committee is a member of our local American Legion and arranged for us to pick up some coats at one of the local distribution points.
